Imagine if your dog or cat got out and loose or lost. You’d want to give him or her the best chance of getting home to you. We want that too and with microchipping, you can!
While collars and pet tags are a great way for pet identification they are not always permanent. Collars and tags can become damaged, break, or fall off over time. This is why we recommend microchipping.
It is a quick, safe, and permanent way to identify your pet in the event that they lose their way. It’s a tiny device, with it’s own unique ID, placed just under the skin at the back of the neck allowing clinics, veterinarians, shelters, and rescues to identify the manufacturer of the chip, which in turn enables us to retrieve your contact information. If we are able to retrieve that information we can help get your fur baby back to you as quickly as possible.
Although we hope your pet never becomes lost, we want you to be prepared as well as give them the best chance at making their way back home to you.
